Here’s How You Can Help
Volunteering with the Rescue Response Group is a powerful way to make a real impact during times of crisis. Whether you're on the ground or behind the scenes, there's a role for everyone. Frontline Operations Volunteers are trained to respond directly to emergencies, including fire suppression, rescue efforts, and first aid. Logistics and Coordination Volunteers support deployments by organising transport, gear, and communication, ensuring our teams are equipped and ready. Meanwhile, Group Admin Volunteers keep the engine running, handling essential tasks like rostering, compliance, and community engagement. Together, these roles form a united force ready to protect lives and support communities when it matters most.

These volunteers are the hands-on responders during emergencies, trained to carry out firefighting, search and rescue, and emergency medical support. They work directly in the field under challenging conditions, making quick decisions and delivering life-saving assistance in real time.
Vital to our ongoing readiness and growth, admin volunteers handle scheduling, volunteer onboarding, document compliance, and internal communications. Their attention to detail keeps the organisation structured, accountable, and connected.
These behind-the-scenes heroes ensure every deployment runs smoothly. They manage equipment, organise travel and accommodation, and keep communication flowing between teams, making sure our responders have everything they need to act quickly and safely.
